If you sell your vehicle, your Extended Service Agreement does not automatically transfer to the new owner. Here’s what you need to know:
📌 What Happens When You Sell the Vehicle?

This Agreement terminates upon sale unless:

You cancel it (see cancellation terms), or

You apply for a transfer to the new owner within 15 days of sale

✅ How to Transfer Your Service Agreement
To complete a transfer, submit the following in writing to the Selling Dealer within 15 days of the ownership change:

A $50 transfer fee

The Extended Service Agreement number

Your vehicle’s:

VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
-
Mileage
-
Make and model
-
Original Date of Sale
-

Your name and address
-
The new owner’s name and address
-
A copy of the maintenance records to provide to the new owner
📁 Note: Maintenance records must be shared with the new owner to preserve eligibility for the manufacturer’s warranty.
⚠️ Restrictions on Transfer

This Agreement can only be transferred with the vehicle

It cannot be:

Assigned to a new or used dealership

Transferred to anyone other than the individual buyer

Once transferred, it cannot be transferred again (i.e., no second transfers)
