Your policy contract explains your coverage, coverage limits, and the vehicle protected under the policy. This article applies to Autrella and Discount ESP policy holders and helps explain what your contract includes. Your coverage information section lists the plan you purchased and any optional coverages added. If a covered repair is needed before the agreement expires and your deductible has been paid, the Selling Dealer or Authorized Repair Facility will make the necessary repairs using parts selected at the Administrator’s discretion, which may include new, used, remanufactured, or non-OEM parts. Coverage only applies to components listed under your plan’s “What Is Covered” section and originally covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. The agreement does not cover items outside your plan, routine maintenance, cosmetic services, certain vehicle uses, aftermarket modifications, racing, environmental damage, accidents, theft, corrosion, warranty-covered repairs, lack of maintenance, gradual wear, or damage caused by continuing to drive after a known issue. Certain parts and services are never covered, including many body, lighting, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, and wear items unless optional coverage applies. The total amount paid under the agreement will not exceed the vehicle’s retail sale price, and any single repair payout is limited to the vehicle’s actual cash value immediately before the breakdown.
