You have questions, we have answers.

General Questions

Typically, auto insurance covers only collision or accidental damage to your vehicle—such as a car crash, fire, or vandalism. An Autrella service contract covers the mechanical parts of your vehicle. Most auto insurance policies do not cover mechanical breakdowns unless they are the direct result of an auto accident. With an Autrella service contract, your engine, transmission, and other vital car parts are protected anytime they break down or malfunction.

As vehicle technology becomes increasingly complex, it becomes more challenging—and potentially problematic—for even the most experienced do-it-yourselfers to fix their own vehicles. Even seemingly simple repairs now require computerized diagnostics, specially trained technicians, and sophisticated equipment only found in specialized repair facilities.

A Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is a 17-digit number unique to your vehicle. Look in any of the following places to find yours: The vehicle registration or title, your insurance card, or the dashboard on the driver's side.

An "extended warranty" is an extension of your manufacturer's warranty. Autrella is not a representative of or working with your vehicle manufacturer or dealer in any way. Instead, our service contract is designed to pick up where your existing warranty drops off, or to fill any gaps in coverage.

Firstly, Autrella takes your information and data privacy seriously. We ask for the make, model, mileage and age of your vehicle in order to recommend the best possible protection. And because rules vary from state to state, we need to know where you live, and how to reach you there.

Coverage Questions

An Autrella representative will review your information and contact you as soon as possible provided you have already submitted a request online. Or you can also call us toll free at to find out more information. We provide services for both new and used vehicles, so there is a good chance your vehicle will qualify for coverage.

Most of our Autrella contracts are transferable if you sell your vehicle to another person. Contact one of our Autrella representatives toll-free to discuss the specific terms of your contract.

No. Because each vehicle is different in terms of its mileage, age, overall condition, and repair history, each Autrella contract we create is vehicle-specific. This ensures that each of your vehicles receives the right level of protection.

No. As long as everything is running fine on the day that you purchase your Autrella vehicle service contract, you will not need a vehicle inspection.

Every Autrella truck and car extended auto service plan we sell comes with a full 30-day unconditional money-back guarantee. Our return policy is simple. We consider your first 30 days with a new extended auto service plan a "review period." Take your time, read through your policy and discuss it with your spouse and family. We're confident that you like so many other Americans will be happy and satisfied with your extended auto service plan. But if you decide for any reason that this isn't the extended auto service plan for you, simply call our customer service line. As long as you haven't used your policy during those 30 days, we'll be happy to refund your money and cancel your extended service plan.
